Overall Design and Compatibility
The SHAPE Cage and 15mm LWS Channel Baseplate with rod system is crafted specifically for the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, providing a robust and versatile support structure that integrates seamlessly with ARRI Standard Dovetail plates.
Plate and Rod System Features
It includes a 501 Slide plate for mounting under the camera, a slim ARRI Compatible Dovetail bottom plate for tripod attachment, and a pair of 8-inch 15mm rods secured by front clamps, allowing for stable accessory mounting.
Top and Side Plates
The Top Plate has two NATO Side Arms with multiple ¼-20 and 3/8-16 ARRI threaded holes for accessories, while the ergonomic Side Plate includes an ARRI Rosette and threaded holes for additional accessory attachments such as handgrips and extension handles.
Material and Ventilation
Constructed from CNC aluminum, the cage ensures durability and lightweight handling, with a top plate pocket design that facilitates proper ventilation to prevent camera overheating during extended use.
