Detailed description
Dual Battery Support and Connectivity
The SHAPE Dual V-mount Battery Plate can hold two Mini V-mount batteries concurrently and connects through a standard V-mount at the back. It is designed as a parallel power plate to increase current availability for higher-power devices.
Discharge Behavior and Current Output
When batteries with different voltages are connected, the higher-voltage battery discharges first until it matches the lower one, after which both batteries discharge together. If both batteries have the same voltage, they discharge simultaneously to deliver a combined current output up to a maximum of 20A.
Indicators and Hot Swap Capability
The battery plate features independent LED indicators positioned above each battery to display status. This setup supports hot swapping batteries without power interruption.
