Design and Compatibility
The SHAPE VCT Universal Baseplate (BP10) is designed for both amateur and professional filmmakers seeking high-quality camera supports and stabilizers. It is compatible with RED DSMC2, Arri Amira/Alexa Mini, Sony Venice/FS7/FS7 II/FS5/FS5 II/EX1/EX3, Canon C200/C300/C300 MKIII/C700, Panasonic EVA1/Cinema Varicam LT 4k S35/Ag-af100/Ag-af101 Varicam LT/P2, and Blackmagic Ursa Mini.
Features and Functionality
It features a front to back sliding plate for quick positioning to optimize camera's center of gravity and weight distribution, protective rubber pads to protect your camera, and a pair of 15 mm rod blocks with safety ratchet knobs at the front and rear of the baseplate. The built-in shoulder pad with gel padding and slip-free surface ensures maximum comfort, and there are two standard Arri rosettes for handle mounting.
Additional Accessories and Storage
The baseplate includes a sophisticated toolbox to store extra screws and an Allen key, which can be conveniently accessed during shooting. The shoulder plate is equipped with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for storing extra screws and has a magnet at the back to hold the Allen key securely.
